Santa Fe

July 14 – 21, 2019
$1450, includes transportation, house stay, meals and entrance fees.

This summer we will embrace the magic of the New Mexico landscape and light! We will spend time outdoors painting and visit galleries and museums that highlight the interaction of art and nature. Of course, we will also spend an afternoon at Meow Wolf where the magic of installation art and story celebrate the landscape of the imagination! Highlights of July’s Santa Fe art excursion will include:
  • a day in Abiquiu touring Georgia O’Keefe’s studio and plein-air painting in the New Mexico landscape
  • private tour of Allan Houser Sculpture Garden
  • Time to explore and make drawings of Santa Fe’s historic plaza
  • A walk up Canyon Road (location of hundreds of galleries) with lunch in the Nedra Matteucci Sculpture Garden
  • an afternoon at Meow Wolf and a private talk with one of the Meow Wolf artists

Limited to 8 students, we will immerse ourselves in the rich art world of this special, historic city.  We will stay in a spacious airbnb that is accommodating to groups our size with plenty of space both indoors and out for creating art. Most evenings will be at home with home cooked meals and time for relaxation. We will leave as a group from Santa Fe at 9:00 am on Saturday, July 13 and return by 5:00 pm Saturday, July 20.

thank you!
Traveling with Page allows students to be artists in the world of art that can only serve to inspire them to go further, to use their talents to seek that place they can call their own. Thank you, Page!

I can’t recommend this program enough! Our hearts are filled with gratitude for Page.

As someone who is trying to figure out their future after high school, spending time in an art school or with people who work every day in art for their career was really interesting and helped me gain a new perspective on how art can impact me and my life.

Page is an artist, teacher and above all, someone who is genuinely passionate about sharing her brilliance with our community’s youth. This kind of rare combination is an amazing gift to our community and not to be missed!
