Private Classes
Private Classes
Sometimes the best way to learn is one-on-one, at your own pace, with an instructor’s full attention. Whether you’re picking up clay for the first time, refining a painting technique, or working through a drawing skill that’s been nagging at you, private and small group lessons let us tailor the class to exactly where you are.
We offer private, semi-private, and small group instruction in clay, painting, and drawing for all ages, including neurodivergent kids and young adults. Lessons are shaped around how each student learns best — the pace, the structure, and the setting can all be adjusted, and our quiet studio and outdoor space offer a calm, low-pressure environment to work in.
Painting and drawing lessons are taught by Page Zekonis, who holds an MFA from the Maryland Institute of Art and has been teaching art for over 30 years — bringing both deep studio expertise and a thoughtful, individualized approach to every lesson.
Clay lessons are taught by Jill, a lifelong clay artist and educator who guides students of every level through the craft.
Private — one-on-one instruction, tailored entirely to you. $80/hour.
Semi-Private — for 2 people, ideal for friends, siblings, or a parent and child learning together. $60/person.
Small Group — 3 to 5 people, available for drawing, painting, and mixed media with Page, or handbuilding clay with Jill. $45/person. (Wheel throwing is only available as a private or semi-private lesson, since the studio has two wheels.)
